Pictures and Video-clips, with no operator.Scout Guard can be triggered by any movement of people (or animals) monitored by a highly sensitive Passive Infra-Red motion sensor (PIR) and then take high quality pictures (up to 5 Mp) or video clips. The device is equipped with built-in infrared LEDs functioning as flash light, so that it delivers clear pictures or videos (in black-white) even in the dark night, while it can take colour pictures or videos under sufficient daylight. Once a motion is detected, the digital camera unit will be awoken up at once (in about 1s)
When activated by motion sensor, it takes automatically pictures or videos, according to previously programmed settings. Pictures and videos are recorded on SD Card (not included). Indoor and outdoor operationPowered by 8 AA alkaline batteries (not included) or just 4, with shorter lasting. A keyboard is an input device of the Scout Guard and is primarily used to set operational functions and parameters. The Scout Guard Camera has the following interfaces: USB port, SD card holder, TV out, external DC power-in, and keyboard. The device is designed for outdoor use and is resistant against water and snow. In addition, the Scout Guard Camera can be used as a convenience digital camera, the user can take pictures or videos manually by pressing the capture button on the keyboard. Long lasting operation: consumes very little power (less than 300μA) at surveillance state. |
